OFFICER REPORTS:

SVP(Bridget): Made contact with brother at Alpha Phi chapter. Otherwise
did little so far.
Treas(Kevin): "I'm senile" [We all knew that] Working on getting the check
signing powers changed. Also dealing with mentor list.
FVP(Ann): sent email about SFF, SF etc. Present activities planned include
a snowball fight for tomorrow.
APOCEd(Amy): I need articles, so what else is knew ?? Try to get an IAP issue
out
AVP(Kate): We have all the rooms in the student center reserved. I'm still
working on the rest. The room allocation thing went to the ASA
on time.
ASC(John): There will be a couch cleaning party [Terrible rendition of "To dream
the impossible dream" by Ezra followed by long discussion of dust
clouds] Where/when/how was not finalised. The office supplies
cabinet could be tidied at the same time. Don't need many typing
supplies any more.
Pres(Dave): [A written report ... YEAHHH!!!] mrn got engaged [more yeahhh!!]
Need to get chapter psyched. Need to establish long term goals
for the chapter (no, not like ride board). Got together with
Ken Tinkler who is president at Zeta Upsilon at BU. Hope the
chapters will have a joint project or something but scheduling
is a mess of incompatibilities. We need to consider supporting
ourselves off the endowment fund for when reg day disappears in
its present form. Set up some sort of communications network
that will work in a bigger chapter.
Hist(Karen): Been doing the scrapbook. Plan to have a captioning party. Dave's
suggestion of redoing the photo board to feature active brothers
is applauded. If there are good prints we should shoot slides for
the slide show for prospectives.
GENERAL DISCUSSION:
------------------
There was a discussion of general rush policies. Most prospectives some because
of friends already in the chapter. Posters etc. serve as a reminder of open
meetings once they are already interested in joining.
Nationals has produced a history book ... unfortunately Alpha Chi didn't send in
an info page.
It's not too soon for officers to be thinking about successors.
Need to have a meeting about the (non-existant) chapter skills program.
Dave found the chapter book alive and well on the president's desk. Need to
be aware of resources available to the chapter. Who's in charge of updating the
chapter book ??
People should go to conclave at Theta Zeta at UNH.
There was also some discussion on the procedure used at Nationals to decide
upon the awarding of a regional DSK. For more info. see Dave.

Email will be sent out about the couch cleaning party.
Keys WILL be ordered for the new brothers.

highly encouraged to do so.
