A few people have been commenting that they didn't get the original message--
I've been responding individually to people, but there's enough buzz that I'll
send it out again. Here goes:

Hello. There is going to be the destroying of a couch
to the sound if iced-tea being stirred...er, of burgers
grilling this Sunday at noon in the EC courtyard. As
the person who is in charge of this event, I have a few
simple requests.
1. Please tell me:
Will you be there?
How much do you think you'll eat (# hotdogs, # hamburgers, # veggiburgers)?
Can you drag anyone along, and how much will they eat (rough estimates...)?
2. I need some help (I can't do everything myself...I'm cool,
but not nearly that cool ;'P)
If you're interested I need:
three or four strong backs to help move the couch at about 11am.
Two or three people (or more, more is definitely appreciated)
willing to stand and grill things for a while. This can be impromptu.
Foley and his Saws-all (and other implements of destruction...toolcom,
muster your forces!).
People willing to stand around and be responsible.
I have to be gone, no really, at 5:00, and while I hope that it doesn't
take people a full five hours to wreck a piddly couch or two,
if it does, I won't be around to see it. Thus, if noone steps up,
couch destruction will have to stop at about 4, and cleanup begin.
If there are people willing to oversee cleanup, the fun need not end at
four; otherwise, sorry, I have a previous commitment. I'm sure this won't
be too much of a problem.
I think that's is. Please send your replies to me, zebediah@mit.edu,
and indicate 1) what you want to eat, and 2) can you help?
YiLotsofcouchdamamgeandFoodStuff!
Jesse Cox.
