Administrative notes:

Start: n/a; End: n/a; Present: n/a
Officers' reports:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
SVP (Emily): Project happened last week--Habitat was cool. It
didn't rain, and the article for it is in the APOc. Saturday
evening, there will be a haunting project, followed by IHOP and
bowling. Next week there will be UMOC. Help make posters
for UMOC! Sign up for hours in the office. Set up is probably
Sunday afternoon around 1:30 pm.
MVP (Carolyn): We have pledges! You should meet them! Pledge
meetings will be happening next week.
FC (Sara B.): This weekend is Semi-Formal Formal at 8 pm in Tang.
Sign up for the dinner trip beforehand. We'll be leaving the
office at 6 pm. There will be Midnight Bowling and IHOP the
following night.
Treasurer (Marisa): Hosed, guinea pig unhappy.
AVP (Sara P.): Taking the HAM test. Doing administrative stuff.
APOcEd (Ian): Deadline was today. If you have an article, send it
now! If you want to pick up APOcs from the office instead of
having them sent to you regularly, tell me.
PubDir (Ann Marie): Drop poster after meeting. Anyone know
another place to buy tempera? Pearl doesn't have blue (but
they have turquoise!)
ASC (Oscar): The office is being managed. Clean up after yourself.
Stuff by the door, recycle them if you can. Supplies will be
purchased soon.
Historian (Ari): Yay camera! Make sure people take it with them.
Sergeant-at-Arms (Ari): Bylaw amendment next week. Ritual box
maybe getting redone?
ASC (Oscar): Stuff is only safe if it's in a mailbox (or on a desk).
President (Sam): Fourteen days to Conclave! Nitin is doing trans-
port. Nationals needs to know we still have a chapter by Novem-
ber 15.
Advisory Comm. Chair (Ellen): I'll be in Seattle next week. I'll
spit towards Micro$oft for Sam.
Committee reports:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
ServComm: Minutes read. UMOC Committee meeting tomorrow.
Instructor training for CPR.
Book Ex Committee: Two people sent e-mail about two weeks af-
ter late hard deadline. Should we be firm or lenient about
letting them have their checks late? Sam says we should be
lenient...except where do we draw the line? Give those two
people checks, disallow others. No exceptions now.
Old Business:
~~~~~~~~~~~~
None.
New Business:
~~~~~~~~~~~~
UMOC Rules: Sara B. reads the rules aloud. Ari outlines the three
things changed from last year. We don't take checks except from
brothers. Should we leave in the rule about brothers not running
or not? What about brothers campaigning? We should allow
less formal confirmation than the written form of consent. Let's
defer this matter to a committee.
Emergency Response Training: In February? During IAP? It
would be 40 hours and much more in-depth than the First
Aid/CPR we did this summer, and almost as much as EMT
training. Costs perhaps $120-$250? ExecComm says we'll do
this.
CPR Instructor: How do we pay? Do we pay? Brothers will pay up
front, get reimbursed one-third of the cost for every class they
teach. ExecComm recommendation.
Office Space Reallocation: We'll do that.
Announcements:

Emily: 6.111 is life.
Ann Marie: TAs that take 25% off tests because their logic was dif-
ferent from yours suck.
