warehouse
talking to alexmv, set up an alumni database
zev demoed it for those present
suggestions/concerns for database:
does it show other info? (pledge class, namesake)
when you click on some checkboxes on the right and then press
filter, it filters correctly, but then it rechecks all the boxes, so you
lose what you were filtering
search for alums in a specific location (e.g. nationals is in
kentucky, do we have alumni there?)
two-way list syncing, i.e. updating site updates mailing lists
what should be done with pledges who were never elevated and are
no longer students
suggestions that they should be removed expect in special
cases
alumni may not want their information public (should we have
people update their information?)
more sorting criteria may be useful (e.g. living group, course)
istab meeting:
talked about the textbook website
is&t talked about what they were going to have
textbook info in data warehouse, public apis to pull info
impression is that it is actually going to happen
