hey APO- this is the project I was considering PC-ing. APO has done it in
the past, and it'd be fun to get people to do it again. I can't go, but
hopefully you guys can make it! THere are drop-in sites, so you don't have
to sign up or anything. Hopefully some of us can make it!

Hey everyone,
As a reminder, the Charles River Clean-Up is this coming Saturday (two days
from now!). So far I have a few people signed up, but if you weren't at the
CEESA GBM last week and didn't get a chance to sign up but still would like
to go, please let me know and I will add you to the group list.
We will be starting our work right by the Mass Ave bridge at 9:30 AM, which
obviously everyone can find their way to on their own, but in the spirit of
CEESA I would like to meet in 1-050 at 9:15 AM so we can make sure we have
our group together before heading out.
Feel free to come even if you can't stay for the whole thing! Last year all
the volunteers got a nifty t-shirt. They'll probably be giving away t-shirts
again this year...
For more info, check out
https://events.mit.edu/event.html?id=9006964&date=2008/4/26 and
http://seagrant.mit.edu/education/other_progs.php?ID=crc. And also see
below.
-Katie
TIME, LOCATION & CONTACT
Starts at 9:30 am at the corner of Mass Ave and Memorial Drive, next to the
river.
WHAT TO WEAR
Wear durable clothing that can get dirty. Check the weather beforehand,
because it could be a cold and/or windy day, so dress accordingly. We will
have light gloves available. Bring heavier duty gloves if you are interested
in pulling larger items out of the river.
FOOD?
Water and very lights snacks will be provided. There's a picnic event for
the volunteers afterward. (See web site re: that.)
