In the medium to long term, Pismere or something like it is likely to
be the most common form of windows around MIT. So, even if the
machine wasn't usable to normal users right now, if it was useful in
getting sipb familiar with and perhaps developing for pismere, it
certainly FTGOS. If it can be a pismere environment and let users do
simple word viewing and printing tasks and the like, that's even
better.
As for Professional vs Server, could someone explain the difference?
IMHO, everything Danilo said makes perfect sense to me, and I'd be
more than happy for him to be Sipb Deathtongue Czar if he's willing.
