Thank you, Greg.  The C++ to Java leap is a short one.

Further, I can assure you (from a direct source) Microsoft's Bill Gates has
recognized and made note of Java's significance, saying "Many languages have
come and gone over the years.  I believe Java is here to stay."  Of course,
we cannot divulge our source and out of context, this statement could mean
very little.  However, given our direct source and the context of the
related discussion, suffice it to say that regardless Microsoft's
aspirations for VB/VBscript, neither is considered a "Java Killer!"
