Hi..
I have some problem about java, using JDK 1.0 beta 2 on Win95/NT.

First, It is known that Hot Java was implemented by Java to demonstrate the
power of Java. But, I cannot understand this thing. Compiling Java source
results in .class file not .exe file. Why does Hot Java on NT have .exe
format? How could it be possible?

Second, some java application source using Frame handle menu and use
System.exit(0) to exit. But, I found "dispose()" method in Frame class
accidentally. So I called this method to exit and successfully exited. What
difference between System.exit(0) and dispose?

Thanks.
