I am trying to create a GIF Image with a beta JDK App (not Applet) under
Solaris by following one of the recent texts with Alpha examples. The example
drops a "new GifImage" into a Window.createImage to create the image. Window can
still "createImage" in super Component given an ImageProducer. I think I
found the ImageProducer in .../java/classes/sun/awt/image/GifImageDecoder.class,
but I can't find neither the documentation api or the java interface for this
class (or any other class in this directory). Where should this info be in the
hierarchy? It is not in the .../java/src/ hierarchy. Do I have an installation
error?
