Frankly, if he considers his .plan file private, he should protect it
as if it were any other file. What if someone had a program looking
for *all* world-readable files :-)
I'd also use the "editorial" argument to punt wslee. (I assume
the pronoun in this discussion has been jinx, since he was the only
antecedent in this chain.)
And as for the resources issue, this uses less overall Athena
resources than having each of us do it individually; that was a big
reason for the original "Panama" (a surprising number of people would
run new_plans on their own, it was in /usr/unsupported/sipb, after
all...)
