I am going to make one more begging plea to everyone out there to show up for
project on the 8th of November. That would be this Saturday. After that,
there is one more project on the 22, and Conclave. The 22nd doesn't need
many peole, so it shouldn't hose people too much.
I am not scheduling projects for December. The chapter has made it very clear
to me that they are too hosed to take part in projects. Chapter weekends
show up with few people, projects that need many people have few show up. I'm
not blaming anyone. I understand that people are busy. Rather than give APO
a bad name by not being able to commit as many people hours as promised, I
will not commit as many hours. I hope that this will let the brotherhood catch
up with its own life, and deal with the tooling they need to, especialy with
finals coming up. If the chapter sees the situation as otherwise, and thinks
that it can deal with projects before finals, it should let me know. I would
like 8 to 10 people to tell me that they want a project at lest three weeks
before the weekend of the project so that I can schedule it. I hope that this
unhoses the chapter, and lets us do quality service, instead of just quantity.
