For everyone who missed ExecComm tonight, the Shakespeare Ensemble came by
at the beginning of the meeting and told us about this neat little deal.
For their show, they want to have a carnival-type atmosphere before the
show and during intermission, some controlled chaos. If people want to
sell things, they can sell things and keep the profit. If people want to
work some other type of booth, be creative, whatever, then they can
probably do that. For every 'booth' that gets worked, the workers get two
free tickets (not each, two total). So if two people worked at some booth
selling something, they would each get a free ticket.
The catches. The play is going on two weekends, during Conclave
and the week afterwards. Obviously you're going to be helping out with
Conclave and unable to help the Shakespeare Ensemble that night. However,
the next weekend, they're also looking for interested people. If this
interests you, get together a booth idea and maybe some people to do it
with and TELL A MEMBER OF THE SHAKESPEARE ENSEMBLE. That means someone
like Ann Marie, or Kevin, or any of those other people in the office next
to ours (not the Thistle office, the other one). They want to know when
you're going to come before you come. In fact, they want to know very
soon, as in within the next day or two. So let them know if you're
interested.
Hey, it'd be fun. And that's what I'm all about. Fellowship and fun.
