Hello!
First, I would like to thank all of you for helping us with UMOC,
especially Jennifer and Steven who campaigned so hard. This year we
raised a total of $913.64 to be donated to charity, over a hundred
dollars more than last year. For those who will be around next year,
we would love to have you run again.
To show our appreciation, we have prizes for some of the candidates.
These will be distributed later, and we'll notify each of you
individually.
This contest is the closest we can remember. The two highest sums
differ only by 47 cents. (We carefully triple-checked all the sums
to be certain of the results.) Because of this narrow margin, we
are considering splitting the total donations between the charities
of the two highest, the Boston Food Bank and the American Cancer
Society. Please let us know what you think of this idea.
Here are the final rankings:
Justin Cave's Year-Old Milk $308.52
Steven Jens $308.05
Sharon Hollander $126.95
Jay Muchnij $84.04
Omri Schwartz $46.58
Sonia Chawla $19.38
Nate Bower $4.73
Write-in & Hack candidates $15.39

Grand Total $913.64
