Schooner Fare - a folk music trio from Maine, which performs
predominantly coastal and Old World (Ireland/Scotland) folk music - is
having a concert in Woburn on the evening of Friday, November 17. Those
of you who have ridden in my car and listened to my tapes have in all
probability heard some of their music. (The 17th is drop date, so this
is the night after drop date, and the friday before Thanksgiving
weekend.)
Tickets are $12 - it is being put on as a fund raiser for a boy scout
troop. If you want to attend, get in touch with me. If you want a
chance to listen to some of their music before deciding let me know, I
have both CDs and tapes. The concert is far enough out that we won't be
walking or taking the T - I'll be driving, and if there are more people
going than can be fit in my car, I'll look at alternate transportation
methods.
