I sent you private mail because I didn't want to further pollute the list and
you're solution is to quote back my entire mail, with headers and sig to the
list. You might consider reading the headers in the future.
DEC's AltaVista is _NOT_ the only NT firewall that another part of my company
has certified. I just got off the phone with the chief of the lab and two are
certified and four more are are on the bench.
Please surf to http://www.ncsa.com/fpfs/fwindex.html for the latest on NCSA's
firewall certification. We think it has value. Apparently so do some of our
customers. It is not the last word in firewalls nor is it intended to be. YMMV
There are very few legends in our business. Donn Parker on the positive side.
"Good Times" on the bad. Neither DEC's firewalls nor NCSA are legends, and
perhaps neither ever will be.
