This is something I've been curious about. TKD gives no explanation
on the usage of noun-connecting conjunctions in a sentence. It merely
describes the syntax of the phrase (noun-noun-conj.). There is no
indication of whether the phrase as a whole is singular or plural.
Of course, logic seems to lead us to believe that two nouns bounded
by je are most likely plural and those by ghap are singular:
{yaS HoD je DIlegh}
{yaS HoD ghap wIlegh}
But who has any ideas for joq?????? Which is correct?:
{yaS HoD joq DIlegh}
{yaS HoD joq wIlegh}
Or maybe logic can't be applied here. It may just call for a new
construction. I don't know. Any ideas?
