Xircom support for Linux is non-existant. Checking with Xircom support
site reveals there dedication to connectivity using MS products...
nothing is mentioned for any other OS. I've sent back Xircom cards for
this very reason and am a voice against any Xircom products.
A couple Xircom cards are listed in the unsupported section of the
Hardware HOWTO:
http://sunsite.unc.edu/LDP/HOWTO/Hardware-HOWTO-26.html#ss26.15
My suggestion, return the card, send a complaint to Xircom and other
online advocacy groups and the vendor, then check the Hardware Howto
before purchasing.
Hope that helps. :-)
