Greetings,
I have a 3com 3c509b combo ethernet card. I installed
linux on that machine. I am able to ping myself but not any other machines
in my LAN or the outside world. ifconfig shows eth0.
In the mean time I get some strange message from time to time on
my screen. I thought that might give somebody an idea of what the problem
is . The message is as follows:
eth0:transmit timed out, TX_status 88 status 2004 TX FIFO room 1524
Can anybody make anything out of this? Please help.
Thanks,
Sudarsan
