Has anyone managed to get a 16750 UART based board to function under
RedHat (Intel or AXP). I have a TurboExpress Port 920 from Pacific
Commware that I bought because it was supposed to work with Linux. So far
I cannot get it to be recognized as a 16750 by Redhat 5.0, 5.1 or 5.2. I
even tried installing the latest 2.1x kernel, it still insisted that it
was a 16550A. Tried letting the bios setup the card and letting Linux
setup the card with isapnp, still won't work. Is this hopeless?
