After I recompiled my kernel for ip_masq, I am getting these error
messages:
setting clock: modprobe can't locate module char-major-10
modprobe can't locate module net-pf-4
modprobe can't locate module net-pf-5
modprobe can't locate module net-pf-4
modprobe can't locate module net-pf-5
modprobe can't locate module net-pf-4
modprobe can't locate module net-pf-5
(then at shutdown I get 2 of those lines again)
Lastly this message:
Finding Module dependencies - can't open
/lib/modules/preferred/modules.dep
To make the kernel I did this:
make mrproper
make menuconfig (configured according to the IP Masq howto)
make dep ; make clean ; make boot ; make zImage
make modules ; make modules_install
Any ideas as to where I should start looking for what step I left out?
Thanks!
