I don't know about your fonts. But, to copy-paste is very simple. Just
select text with the left button of your mouse, then click on the middle
button to paste.
If you have a two button mouse, you just press both buttons at the same
time. If this doesn't work, it is because of your /etc/XF86config file.
Just run Xconfigurator or xf86config, which ever you like best and make
sure to select emulate 3 buttons.
