Dear sir,
I have following problems.
1. My machine is PII 300 MHz. 64MB ram 4.3 GB HDD. I am using it as a=
server.
I have done setup for the printer using printtool X window. My printcap=
file is as follows
#
# Please don't edit this file directly unless you know what you are doing!
# Be warned that the control-panel printtool requires a very strict format!
# Look at the printcap(5) man page for more info.
#
# This file can be edited with the printtool in the control-panel.

My printer is EPSON Stylus-1000 B/W .
It prints fine from some applications. like MS Word. but from MS Excell it=
always eject the page after half printing. Then it will print balance page=
after inserting a paper. Many times it will not print part of data in=
middle of page.
To isolate problem I connected the printer to a node running WIN98. Using=
printer sharing . All print jobs are OK.
Any more setting are requred to use printer from server? I was using same=
printer from my novel NetWare server without any problems.
2. I have purchased a Ethernet card Dlink make, model SN5100TX . this is=
32bit PCI / IEEE 802.3 100BAse-TX card. This works fine wit WINDOWS95/98.=
Which module should be used for this card. I tried all the modules=
available for RedHAT Linux 5.1. ( I have purchased RedHAT Linux 5.1). I=
want to know where I can get the module for this card. Along with card=
they have given SCO Unix drivers.
Thanks in advance.
Best Regards
Deepak Joglekar.
