You are getting "Shell access not allowed" because your ISP does not accept
shell accounts on the phone number you are dialing into.
You need to set Linux up to -NOT- use clear text passwords (I.E. NO login
script or if you are using the GUI configuration tool remove ANYTHING you
see in the "expect" and "send" columns...)
Then set up your login name and password under the PAP entries...
Remember that if you are on a LAN, NOT to make your eth0 lan card your
default route or else PPP will not work...
