I'm looking for good (cheaper) back up solutions. Here I have about
2.0 gigs of stuff to back up, but all I have is floppies :( so I
don't bother. :(

First off, is IDE tape worth considering? Right now I'm considering
to go SCSI. DAT is way too expensive, but I'm looking at pcconnection
now, and they've got an HP Surestore T4i (scsi) for $319, which
fits my budget a little better.

Of course, I need a SCSI controller too. Which? Buslogic I've heard
is OK, but I can't find it (at least not yet on pcconnection.com). The
drive says it needs a "narrow interface" so I don't think I need any-
thing fancy, like ultra wide, but PCI rather than ISA would be
nice. Should I go with Adaptec? They seem rather ubiquitous.

Advice, preferably with model numbers and approximate prices would
be most welcome. I've read the various Howto's but they just list
compatible devices; they don't recommend anything.
