There is no way for a new subscriber to see what was posted a day or two ago -
that's why the common questions are repeated every day.

Put this line in /etc/lilo.conf:
       append="mem=96"
THEN RUN "lilo" to make it stick.
That fixes booting from your hard drive.

When booting from floppy, at the
    Boot:
prompt type
    mem=96
