Causing much confusion, Gimp 1.0.x will not run with glib or gtk 1.1.x.
I have GIMP 1.0.0-? running fine on my system (now) with glib and gtk
1.0.6. Try them instead of looking for 1.0.5 versions.

I mention "confusion" because gtk is the "Gimp Tool Kit" yet the newest
versions of GTK are required by some apps but Gimp, the namesake of the
whole lib, CANNOT run with the newest libs. You cannot compile GIMP
against the new libs either. What the fuh?!
