Why is it that you are actually creating a bootdisk??  I assume that you
are booting off of your CD-ROM in which case, the only reason you need to
make a boot disk is for rescue purposes, which you can do after the
installation has completed anyway...

I don't know why it is that it will not create the disk, however if you
really want one before you install, then you can create one from a DOS
machine which you can access the CDROM from.. Just use the rawrite program
to write out the relevent image file to a floppy disk...

Also, is the floppy drive light on all the time??  If so, then the cable
is probably plugged in the wrong way around...
