Get Wingate 2.1 (http://www.wingate.com)
Proxy/socks server, no-brainer setup--just set up a hosts file for your
LAN, mapping IP addresses to hostnames, stick a copy in /etc/hosts and
C:\Windows. Edit appropriate config files (or do equivalent GUI things)
for your *nix apps to inform them of the proxy--Win box will auto dialup
whenever it receives a network request from your *nix box. (And of course
both boxes can access the net simultaneously.)
