Hi,

Do any of the errata updates update the core commands like passwd, su,
ls, ps, etc...? The reason i'm asking this 'cause i bought a good book
from O'Reilly 'Pratical Unix & Internet Security' in the book thay
suggest doing a diff of files on the system and compare it against files
on the cdrom '/cdrom/live' which i did. Some of the files on my system
differ in date, some in size and some differ in both date and size.

Should I go to the section titled 'Handling Security Incidents'? or
should feel secure that the changes are merely updates from Redhat's
errata www page?

Thanks inadvance,

Dave C.

It's a good feeling to be windows impaired. No more crashes, just have
to blow the dust off the system once and awhile :)
