I have tried to upgrade from RH4.2 to RH5.1 without success. I get the following message when Scanning Packages:

Install exited abnormally - received signal 11

Looking at FAQ and other documentation it implies a memory problem, it is not.
One suggestion was to rebuild the rpm database, did that, didn't work.
Decided to upgrade to 5.0 first then to 5.1, was able to upgrade to 5.0, still got the same problem when upgrading from 5.0 to 5.1.
Tried rebuilding the rpm database again, still didn't work.

I don't know what to try next. Help me please.
