I think RedHat has compounded the error by removing all traces of 3.03 from 
everywhere, thus making it very difficult to go back, as Henry said.  I am not 
upgrading from 3.03 until I see that 4.0 is stable, but I also cannot add to 
my system now, because all traces of 3.03 support have disappeared "overnite". 
 The policy should be to keep the older files around for at least 90-120 days 
after the new one ships.
