BTW, the disks Michael made were hacks specifically for the aic7xxx which
includes 2940 and 3940. Is this the driver you are supposed to use?

Also, have you tried the boot disks which come with Colgate?

If the original disks don't work either then:

do you know how the kernel needs to be built, i.e., kernel version, and
kernel devices you need supported?

If you let me know, I can probably find time to build a kernel for you and
email it.  Michael will probably want to make an "Official" boot disk for
it as well if there is a problem.
