It seems as if my /tmp directory has had it's permissions mangled:
drwxrwxr-x 3 root root 1024 Dec 1 02:30 tmp
I've gotten errors from cron such as:
touch: /tmp/doex1708: Permission denied
chmod: /tmp/doex1708: No such file or directory
/usr/lib/news/bin/news.daily: /tmp/doex1708: Permission denied
This is with RHL 4.0, Kernel 2.0.18.
what's the quick & dirty way to fix this?
Thanks,
Jeremie
