Is the Linux disk hda, hdb, hdc, or hdd? To put it another way: Is
Linux on the Primary IDE controller? If it's on the secondary
controller (hdc, hdd) you can't boot off it. It's part of some
standard, you can only boot off the Primary conroller (although you
should be able to boot off the Primary Master OR Primary Slave drives,
some BIOS won't let you though). Hope that helps!
