System: 386DX40 8MB (for now)
Trident 8900(1MB) + Generic Monochrome VGA
Microsoft Bus mouse on IRQ 5
Adaptec AHA 1520 SCSI + 1GigHD + CDROM
Intel EtherXpress16 10MB 10baseT
LAN: Ethernet 10 using Gateway (brand name) 8 port hub
2-Win311 + 1-Win95 + 1-Linux = 4 (all using EtherXpress16)
Win311 using TCP/IP-32 NDIS2/NDIS3 (removed other drivers)
Linux: Red Hat Version 4.0
I can't ping anyone accept localhost and server. Indicator light on
ethernet hub is NOT showing that Linux has activated card. If I let
the machine sit I will get the message:
eth0: CU wedged, status 0240 0000, resetting...
one or more times over a period of time (hours) or system locks up.
Not a hardware problem. Everthing works fine when I boot up as win311
on the same workstation.
Any help would be appreciated ... Graeme
