I just got notification that I received a grant to cover expenses to
attend the 1997 USENIX/USELINUX confernece in Anahiem. I was wondering
if anybody on this list was also planning on attending? The following
excerpt is from the USENIX homepage :
4:00-5:00: Future of the Linux Kernel
Linus Torvalds, Helsinki University
The future of Linux! The lead developer of Linux talks about the future
of Linux kernel development, including topics such as
advanced memory management techniques, high-speed networking, and
portability.
Listening to Linus talk about the OS that *most* of us feel is the only
OS, should be rather interesting.
