Craig:
After adding the "scsi_hostadapter" alias to "conf.modules" you will also
have to use "mkinitrd" to generate a new "/boot/initrd" (for your boot
device). Otherwise the 1542 Module will NOT be loaded at boot time and be
available during the boot sequence! The LILO "append" parameters should
NOT be needed (if your Adaptec is using "standard" settings).
