I'm beginning to believe that 'Dave' is just a troll to try & work us
up. Note the repeated misspellings of basic computer terms like
'floopy' for floppy, the claim to be running an IDE tape drive off the
floppy controller & the completely bogus OEM claim on who made his
monitor.

I take this as more trolling evidence. Note how, despite the fact that
he cannot handle simple things under Linux, Win95 works perfectly for
him. Anyone who's had any system administration experience with it
would find him laughable.

Well, since you can't even ask intellegent questions, what do you
expect? To paraphrase Dogbert, "If there are no stupid questions, do
stupid people get smart just before they ask a question?" However, I
don't think that's the case, instead these are just trolling
attempts. If they're real, I pity anyone who has to come into contact
with such a clueless whiner. "GE service & support - why won't my
toaster work right when I plug it into my phone line."
