Hi All,

  Has any installed 2.1 or 4.0 RH-Linux with the ( REVEAL CDQ200 cdrom drive )

I can't find any info on rather it is or isn't supported.

I had to use it's own controller/Interface card and I had to use 1E8,11,3EE

Like this  ==>  C:\CDROM\GCD540.SYS /D:MSCD000 /C:1E8,11,3EE.

It wouldn't run off my controller or sound card. As a matter of fact, This was

the omly PORT and IRQ, I could get it to run on.

  After all the work, I can only hope that Linux supports this drive. I guess
Reveal has gone bankrupt and there web pages have been removed. So hard to
find
out who built the cdrom. Someone on an IRC chat room said "maybe FUNAI built
it, I think they did build some of the Reveal cdroms." He didn't know for sure

though.

Any help on this one would be greatly appreciated and TIA ... Mark F.
