Gentlemen,

I've just tried to upgrade to XFree86-3.2 (the official release) and ran into
the following problems:
1) (minor)
Upon upgrading the XFree86 package
(rpm -Uv XFree86-3.2-1.i386.rpm) I've got the following message:
"can not remove /usr/X11R6/man/man1 - directory is not empty".
The package itself seems to have been installed, it's just the clean-up
procedure that screws up. What do I do: remove this directory by
hands or leave it to clutter my hard drive?

2) (serious)
XFree86-XF86Setup refuses to install because of the failed
dependencies:
libtcl.so is needed
libtk.so is needed
XFree-VGA16 is needed

While I can download XFree-VGA16, I have no clue what to do about the
first two - they don't seem to be a part of the standard package.
But even XFree-VGA16 annoys me - to waste several MB of the disk space
JUST FOR a SETUP?! (Otherwise I need XFree-SVGA for my card).
After all there probably is a text-driven setup program like
'xf86Config' that does not need an additional X-server.

I would greatly appreciate any suggestions.
Cheers,

Kirill
