Just try using the line:
append="linux ether=0,0x0220,eth0"
To your /etc/lilo.conf or at bootup:
linux ether=0,0x0220,eth0
Don't use the IRQ.
Of course change the address to the one that you have the card set for
using the software that came with it or however you derived the
address.
