MacOS 7.5.? is running on the Quadra 610. And as long as the Linux eth0 is
available, I don't see what Open Transport accomplishes in this case.

I don't recall seeing what to put into the /etc/atalkd.conf file. However,
I have one with the following line:
eth0 phase 2 -net 0-65534 -addr 65280.211
There is a shorter line available, I'm tempted to comment the above line
out and try the shorter one. Thanks for pointing out the file - I was
overlooking the fool thing (again).

Thank you - that should come in handy a little later on when I'm
attempting to another intel box on line.
