Just a thought...
It sounds like you're getting serious.
Ascend makes really cool ISDN routers that you can plug Ethernet into.
That way you'd have a hub, one machine, two machine, ..., an Ascend
pipeline something, and your ISDN line, and all would be really simple
and it wouldn't matter if a PC broke or locked up...
Otherwise if you stick to what you're doing, I'd put the ISDN on Linux
because it won't "Reboot for changes to take effect" and it should crash
much less often.
