Sure, but fx!32 works quite nicely for me when I have to use my Alpha
under NT (even runs stuff like Netscape and Java). DEC may actually start
to sell more desktop Alphas with this much needed addition. There's been
some talk of a similar sort of thing to allow Linux/Intel apps to run on
Linux/AXP, so maybe.... The only problem with this kind of solution is
that it makes true native apps (and the attendant speed advantages) even
less likely.
