Top of the head, and I've been having to get a _lot_ of help from this
list, however -
1)Read/Reread the ppp HOWTO. True, I keep missing some of the good stuff
in the HOWTO's, but I'm learning.
2) check that the pppd daemon is locatable (ie. fully specified or on the
path).
3) if you must run pppd as a user, you will need to set uid root. Check
the chmod man pages for background.
4) run dip with a script. You will need to set uid root and give yourself
as a user execute permisiions.
