Here's a curious one. Since upgrading from 3.03 to 4.0 (which I
eventually did by reinstalling from scratch) if I try to print any
file via apsfilter without using the -Praw switch I get the following
in a typical staircase pattern
"Error: /invalidfont in findfont
Operand stack:
Times-Italic@0 --nostingval"
This even happens if the file has an explicit .ps extension. Oddly it
doesn't happen with the sample files in tha apsfilter "test"
directory. I had assumed this might be due to the now famous
ghostscript font problem in 4.0, and upgraded to
ghostscript-fonts-4.0-3.i386.rpm today, but sadly with no improvement.
The forests of northern England are fast becoming bare as my nice
laserjet scavenges for yet more......
Any help would be much appreciated.=09
