Thanks, Alan. I will do that. I'm grabbing screen-3.7.1-5.tar.gz 
right now.

Later...

./configure dies with the following 
(some lines deleted)
checking for tgetent
checking for libcurses
checking for libtermcap
checking for libtermlib
configure: !!! no tgetent - no screen

Darn! Now what do I do?
