Worked fine for me (on 1.2.13), but I guess the problems might come from
the ELF patches included in the Red Hat 1.2.13 source tree.

The new BusLogic is a standard part of Linux 2.0.x, so it works (at
least, should work) out of the box.

Be sure to enable generic SCSI tape support in the kernel.
