I agree. There are much more people using 4.0 than 3.*, so more
complaints. Redhat made some errors in the installation procedure
which resulted in a large number of complaints (and many of the
complaints were repeated since redhat was slow to answer initially due
to being away at some conference)

 But when the installation errors are fixed, the system runs smoothly
--- for me, certainly smoother than 3.*.  Plus, redhat promised to
make beta testing more thorough in the future. (And please stick
around for a few days right after a new release).
