No, but I've copied CDROMs onto other SCSI drives using dd.  It works fine,
and you can mount them using the "-t iso9660" option.

It shouldn't.  When you're done using it for the CD-ROM image you'll just
have to repartition it.  If you need to use it with Iomega's software on
other PC operating systems, you should use partition 4.
